Appearance is extremely important – ensure your property is clean and well kept from the footpath to gardens, exterior and interior of the residence.
Ceanliness also comes from being uncluttered. Remove any unnecessary items as all these do is cause the residence to appear less spacious and more difficult to maintain.
Ensure pets are off the property during inspections.
A well lit home is a welcoming home – draw back any curtains and open up the blinds – this helps to create the illusion of space and disperses the gloominess that darkness manifests.
Flowers and fruit can create appeal by adding life and introduce enticing scents to rooms throughout – freshly brewed coffee and/or baked goods also create a welcoming scent.
Repair any small faults such as leaking taps, cracked windows, chips, door knobs, locks and scratches.
Many agencies also recommend soft background music
The temperature will add to the individuals comfort level – if you have airconditioning / heating set it to a neutral level – you want your buyers to be relaxed and “at home” in the space.
